All panels are connected via flexible gaskets called "zippers" which are a unique component of Beyond by Allsteel demountable partitions, enabling the modular performance of the product.​

Zippers enable non-progressive panel installation which expedites initial installation and reconfiguration; changes can be isolated to a single panel without disrupting adjacent wall panels or doors and a perpendicular wall panel can connect at any zipper reveal along an elevation.​

An aluminum reveal cover has been developed to create a flush wipeable surface between tiles to meet infection-control standards for medical exam rooms. These components can be color-matched to painted steel wall tiles.​

Behind the zipper, the edges of each wall panel frame included slotted standards which present an opportunity to integrate third party case goods or medical devices with simple brackets.
