The winged ceiling channel was developed to improve acoustics and aesthetics of the modular solution. The wings create surface space for flexible acoustic seals that flex around surface variations between the ceiling grid and tiles creating an tighter acoustic seal between rooms. This design also hides conduits and pipes passing through the ceiling channel and ceiling tiles for connections above the grid.​

The ceiling channel design matches the universal frame design; the ceiling track is pre-ported to accommodate the routing of electric cabling whips, conduit and vacuum plumbing pipes for connections above the grid.​
